Is it permissible for the one-third of the udhiyah designated for the poor to be the sheep that will be sacrificed outside the country, while the sheep that will be sacrificed inside the country is for relatives and household members, or must the udhiyah that will be sacrificed inside the country be divided into three thirds, one of which is for the poor?

Dividing the sacrificial animal (Udhiyah) into three parts (one-third for eating, one-third for gifting, and one-third for charity) is not obligatory; rather, it is only recommended. Some scholars are of the view that what is recommended is to combine eating, gifting, and giving in charity without being restricted to a specific amount, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Eat what seems good to you, feed others, and store some." Giving charity or a gift from the Udhiyah or Aqiqah (sacrificial animal for a newborn) is achieved by any part of it, regardless of its quantity.
