Is it permissible to inform someone whose wife saw in a dream that his death is approaching – a dream that has repeatedly come true – so that he may increase his acts of obedience?

A vision is from Allah, and a dream is from Satan. So if any of you sees something he dislikes, let him spit lightly to his left three times, and seek refuge in Allah from Satan, and not relate it to anyone, and let him stand up and pray. Therefore, a wife should not relate disliked visions to anyone. Rather, she should advise and enjoin good and forbid evil, and encourage repentance and obedience. A truthful vision from a righteous servant is a pleasing blessing.
