What is the ruling on using injections or pills that stop menstruation for a few hours?

It is permissible to use injections or pills to delay menstruation out of necessity, provided that a specialist doctor approves. If the doctor permits it, there is no harm in using them for hours or days. If they stop the bleeding for a complete period of purity (tahir), then the circumambulation (tawaf) after it is valid; otherwise, it is not.
