Should a girl who is engaged and has had her marriage contract (aqd qiran) solemnized, and who notices a change in her fiancé's treatment, his stinginess, his being influenced by his family, and his refusal for her to travel to improve their financial situation despite their previous agreement, continue in this relationship, or is separation better, especially with her feeling a lack of love and her fear of his family's constant interference after marriage?

The bond between spouses is strong and well-established, so much so that Allah called it a "solemn covenant." When a marriage contract is concluded with its conditions fulfilled, rights for both parties arise from it. It is not permissible for the wife to travel except with her husband's permission and a mahram (definition), nor is it lawful for her to seek divorce without a valid reason. It is advisable to hold onto this marriage, to please the husband, and to seek one's rights with wisdom.
