What is the ruling on a marriage contract in which the man was unjustly coerced and pressured by the fiancée at the police station, and in which the bride's representative claimed she was a virgin of sound mind, when she is not?

Marriage is not valid unless certain conditions are met, including the groom's free choice and absence of coercion. If a man is coerced into marriage through threat of death, severe beating, or prolonged imprisonment, the contract is invalid. If the coercion ceases, the marriage must be annulled, even if the husband ratifies it after the coercion has lifted, because it was not originally valid, as mentioned by Al-Dasuqi in his supercommentary on Sharh Mukhtasar Khalil.
