Is it permissible to complete the marriage to a committed girl who works as an art teacher, and whose former specialization was (sculpture), with her knowledge of the prohibition of sculpture and her affirmation that she no longer practices this art, and that her current work is limited to drawing inanimate objects and altering the form of animate beings when necessary?

It is permissible to marry the girl as long as she is religious, and it is preferable to complete the marriage with her, especially since she does not practice sculpting and draws non-animate objects, which is permissible. If she needs to draw animate objects, she should alter their form so that they no longer resemble an animal, for that is permissible. It has been narrated from Ibn Qudamah: "If the head of the image is cut off, the reprehensibility is removed... And if a part is cut off from it such that the animal cannot survive after its removal, such as its chest or stomach, or if it is given a head separate from its body, it does not fall under the prohibition; because the image does not remain after its removal, so it is like cutting off the head."
