Is it permissible for the wife to attend the wedding while she is at her family's home due to a dispute with her husband, and before the khulʿ (divorce initiated by the wife) is finalized?

Filing a Khul‘ lawsuit does not automatically constitute a divorce. Rather, the 'iddah (waiting period) of the woman seeking Khul‘ begins upon the completion of the Khul‘, meaning by the Sharia court's ruling of divorce. The woman remains under her husband's marital authority until the Khul‘ occurs, and she is not permitted to leave without his permission, even if she is at her parents' house. Similarly, a wife is not permitted to request Khul‘ without a legitimate Sharia reason.
