Is it permissible to accuse jinn of stealing money based on certain events, or is there another explanation?

You have done well by not accusing others of theft without proof, and the loss of this money does not warrant madness. We advise you to seek recompense and ask God to compensate you with something better. Do not go along with suspicions that the jinn may have stolen it, for it would have been more appropriate for you to keep it in a safe place. Fortifying the place from Satan with legitimate invocations (adhkar) is a sunnah, including reciting Surat Al-Baqarah, for: "Indeed, Satan flees from the house in which Surat Al-Baqarah is recited." This also includes reciting Ayat Al-Kursī before sleeping, and remembering God upon entering the house and before eating, and His (Glorified and Exalted be He) saying: "And say, 'My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, and I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me.'" And regularly saying "There is no god but Allah alone, without partner; to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise, and He is over all things competent" one hundred times a day, for it is a protection from Satan.
