What is the ruling on always reciting Surahs Al-Ikhlas and Al-Mu'awwidhatayn after a congregational supplication upon the conclusion of a feeding gathering?

Reading the Qur’an and supplicating contain immense good. There is no harm in combining them, as long as it is not taken as a regular, fixed habit at specific times, otherwise, it becomes an innovation (bid‘ah). Similarly, reading Surat Al-Ikhlas and Al-Mu‘awwidhatain at specific times becomes an innovation if it is taken as a binding sunnah, but there is no harm in it if done occasionally or from time to time.
