The contract for transporting students to schools is a binding lease contract that can be rescinded if its fulfillment becomes impossible due to a sudden impediment. In this case, the worker is entitled to their wage in proportion to the work completed.

So, if the students were transported for half the duration, the worker is entitled to half the wage and must return the other half.

As for how the amount is to be returned: if the wage was in dollars, half of what was paid should be returned in dollars. If it was in lira, half of the agreed-upon lira should be returned, regardless of the currency of payment.

The determining factor is the currency in which the contract was made, because the rescission applies to what the contract applies to.

Given the currency depreciation, it is preferable to reconcile by sharing the loss.
