Is it wrong to condemn men who shave their beards?

The command to grow beards and the prohibition against shaving them is an enjoinment of good and a forbidding of evil. The one who does so will be rewarded if his intention is sincere, in accordance with the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "He is not of us who does not show mercy to our young ones, and respect to our old ones, and enjoin good and forbid evil." The forbidding of evil must adhere to its Sharia-compliant regulations.
