Does a mother who raised her children after the death of her husband receive the reward of a guardian of an orphan, and does this reward cease if she contracts a semi-Misyar marriage six years after her husband's death, out of her eagerness to raise her children without anyone's interference, despite her ability to contract a normal marriage?

If a woman raises and cares for her orphaned children well, she will be rewarded with two merits: The first is the merit of sponsoring an orphan, according to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "I will be the first to open the gate of Paradise, except that I will see a woman hastening before me. So I will say, 'What is the matter with you? And who are you?' She will say, 'A woman who stayed with her orphans.'" This includes a mother and others. The second is the merit of one who is afflicted with sons and is patient with them and raises them well, according to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever is afflicted with any of these daughters and treats them well, they will be a shield for him from the Fire." Good treatment includes safeguarding, providing for, educating, and disciplining them, and this reward applies to both males and females. Misyar marriage does not prevent these rewards.
