Is it permissible to take blood money from an innocent person or someone minimally involved in an accident that led to another person's death?

The driver who was driving normally and did not cause the accident is not liable for anything if another driver collides with him from behind, because he was not directly involved in what happened nor did he cause it. And whoever is not directly involved in killing and did not cause it, there is no basis for taking blood money from him. It is advisable to refer to the Sharia courts to examine the circumstances of such matters.
