Is what a person finds in his underwear, traces due to frequent flatulence, considered ritual impurity (najasa)? Everything that exits the anus, if it is a liquid, is impure and invalidates ablution, except for wind, which is not impure. Madhī (pre-seminal fluid) is a clear, viscous fluid that exits without pleasure; it is impure and invalidates ablution, but it does not necessitate ghusl (definition) (ritual bath), nor does it invalidate fasting. Manī (seminal fluid) exits in spurts with pleasure and necessitates ghusl; it invalidates fasting if it exits due to an action by the fasting person, but it does not invalidate fasting if it exits as a wet dream. A sleeping person is not held accountable for what they do. It is permissible to be absent from prayer in the mosque if harm is feared on the way.
