It is not permissible to participate in profit-making companies that rely on browsing advertisements, as they involve gharar (excessive uncertainty) and Jahalah (ignorance), and resemble gambling. The uncertainty regarding the browser's wage and the ambiguity in obtaining it makes it a form of devouring wealth illicitly. Furthermore, paying sums to obtain additional features is also a form of devouring wealth illicitly. It is likewise impermissible to act as an intermediary for them or to promote them.
