It is forbidden to play electronic games that contain blasphemous elements or naked images, due to the Almighty's saying: "And He has already sent down to you in the Book that when you hear the verses of Allah being denied and ridiculed, do not sit with them until they enter into another conversation. Indeed, you would then be like them" (An-Nisa: 140). Similarly, it is forbidden to watch what is unlawful, as it signifies approval and assistance in sin, as stated by the jurists. If there is doubt about the presence of forbidden elements, the default is permissibility. However, if their presence becomes clear, one must refrain from playing. If the forbidden sound of the game is muted, playing it is not prohibited from this aspect, as long as it does not contain forbidden images. A Muslim is advised to avoid games surrounded by these issues, in accordance with the hadith: "Whoever guards himself against doubtful matters, he has indeed guarded his religion and his honor."
