The use of cleaning products containing alcohol is permissible according to the majority of scholars. If piety regarding their use conflicts with obedience to parents, then obedience to parents takes precedence because it is obligatory. Do not raise this issue at home, agree with your family, and you can buy alcohol-free cleaning products. A Muslim must avoid impurities and clean places contaminated by them. If impurities are on the carpets, one can pray on a clean prayer rug placed over them. Dealing with non-Muslim companies is permissible, and conditions that are in accordance with Islamic law must be fulfilled, while conditions that violate it must be nullified. Congregational prayer in the mosque is obligatory for men.
