Is it said, "May Allah hear him who praises Him," in the prostration of forgetfulness?

It is not prescribed to say "Sami'a Allahu liman hamidah" (Allah hears those who praise Him) in the prostrations of forgetfulness (sujud as-sahw). Rather, it is prescribed to say "Allahu Akbar" (Allah is the Greatest) when prostrating and rising from it, as mentioned in the hadith of Abu Hurairah concerning the story of Dhul-Yadayn. As for the ruling on sujud as-sahw for someone who omits saying "Sami'a Allahu liman hamidah," the matter is subject to scholarly disagreement, and the Hanbalis hold the view that sujud as-sahw is obligatory in this case.
