How can one combine enjoying this worldly life with closeness to Allah and entering Paradise?

There is no harm in enjoying the good things that Allah has made lawful. However, it is better to prioritize those in need and to be content with what is sufficient for one's needs, for Allah Almighty says: "Say, 'Who has forbidden the adornment of Allah which He has produced for His servants and the good things, from [His] provision?'" And Allah praised the Ansar for preferring others over themselves.
