Is it possible to take back one's wife after a divorce pronounced with the words "by three" (triple divorce), knowing that the intention was to intimidate and there was no intention of a triple divorce?

It appears that what you uttered was a promise that if divorce were to occur, it would be a triple divorce. This promise, by itself, does not determine the nature of the divorce you subsequently issued. If you did not intend a triple divorce with the divorce you issued, and it was either the first or the second, then you may take your wife back.
