Is the money I collected from the grant permissible or impermissible? Is the money I collect from teaching in a non-Muslim country permissible or impermissible? Is it permissible to borrow from it?

A Muslim woman who travels to a disbelieving country without a mahram (unmarriageable kin) falls into several prohibitions: her travel without a mahram, her travel to a disbelieving country without a Sharia-compliant need, and her residence in a disbelieving country, due to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "I am free from any Muslim who resides among the polytheists," narrated by Abu Dawud.

As for the money she acquired in those countries, it is permissible because teaching itself is not forbidden. Likewise, money obtained from a state scholarship is lawful, provided it does not violate the state's regulations. It is permissible to borrow from her lawful money, but not from any other source.
