What is the effect of intermittent bleeding due to uterine fibroids on performing the rituals of Umrah?

A few drops of blood that descend due to illness and not during the usual time of menstruation are considered irregular bleeding (istihada). Istihada necessitates performing ablution for each prayer after its time has begun, and using a protective pad. Any blood that descends after that does not cause harm, even if it occurs during prayer. The rituals of Umrah (definition) do not require purity except for the circumambulation (tawaf (definition)). If the woman performing Umrah wishes to perform tawaf, she should perform ablution and use a protective pad, then circumambulate.
