As for animals authorized for breeding, such as cats, their owner, if he confines them, must feed them and give them water. He sins if he withholds food and drink from them. The about the woman who entered Hellfire because of a cat she confined is authentic, for she neither fed it nor let it eat from the vermin of the earth. As for the right mentioned by the questioner, we have not seen any scholar who mentioned it.
