What is the ruling on a mother relinquishing her share of an inheritance apartment to her youngest brother, to the exclusion of the other heirs?

A mother must be fair among her children in giving, and it is not permissible for her to favor some of them over others unless there is a legitimate شرعي reason. She should be advised and reminded of Allah; because differentiation is forbidden and causes grudges.
