Is it permissible for a husband and wife to sleep together naked without intending intercourse or foreplay, and is there any prohibition reported regarding sleeping naked?

It is permissible for Muslim men and women to sleep unclothed, even if there is no necessity for it with one's spouse. This has been authentically reported from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) when she slept with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and removed her clothes. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) alluded to this by saying, "And you have removed your clothes," which indicates that she slept unclothed.
