Is purchasing a copy of Muhammad Asad's translation of the meanings of the Qur’an and presenting it to Christians and freethinkers a good idea for convincing them of Islam, in order to prove that the Qur’an is free from contradictions and contains all information?

The translation of the meanings of the Qur’an is not considered the Qur’an itself, nor does it hold its status. Rather, it is like an exegesis (tafsir) in Arabic, in terms of bringing the meanings closer. Therefore, it is permissible for disbelievers to touch a translation of the meanings of the Qur’an in a language other than Arabic, and it is permissible for them to touch its exegesis in Arabic. Similarly, it is permissible to gift them such a translation.
