Is it permissible to publish the book Kitab at-Tawhid on a website, even though it contains weak hadiths such as: "Remove it, for it will only increase you in weakness; for if you were to die with it on you, you would never succeed," and "Whoever ties a knot and then blows upon it has practiced magic, and whoever practices magic has committed shirk (polytheism), and whoever attaches himself to something is entrusted to it," and "Nothing should be asked for by the Face of Allah except Paradise"?

A weak hadith is not used as evidence in matters of creed and rulings, because these are matters upon which binding obligations are built. However, it can be cited in admonition and matters of virtuous deeds. The book by Imam Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab (may Allah have mercy on him) included a few weak hadiths, but their meaning is affirmed by other texts. The book also contains many verses and authentic hadiths, as well as great benefits for purifying Tawhid. Publishing it yields many benefits, provided that attention is drawn to the weak hadiths it contains.
