Does a divorce pronounced via WhatsApp with the intention of threat and discipline due to extreme anger take effect, and is the wife's permission required to take her back after this divorce?

The gist of the fatwa is: If a divorce is written but not uttered, and there is no intention to enact it, then it is a kinaya (allusion) and does not take effect without intention. If you intended it as a threat and not to enact divorce, then it does not take effect. However, if you uttered the divorce to your wife, it has taken effect, and you can take her back (raj'a) as long as it is not the completion of the third divorce and she is still within her 'idda (waiting period), without needing her consent or knowledge.
