Is it obligatory for a widow to return to her father's house after the expiration of her iddah, despite her desire to raise her daughters in her deceased husband's house, and the availability of all necessities of life for her and her daughters?

A woman whose husband has died must observe her 'iddah (waiting period) in the home where her husband passed away. It is not permissible to remove her from it, nor is it permissible for her to leave it except out of necessity. Her father is not permitted to remove her from it during the 'iddah period. After the 'iddah concludes, she may obey her father in leaving the marital home, but she is not obligated to obey him if she or her daughters would be harmed by leaving. The maintenance of her daughters during the custody period is from their own wealth if they possess any, otherwise, it is the responsibility of whoever is obligated to provide for their maintenance.
