What should I do when papers containing the name of Allah and Quranic verses are thrown on the ground at the university?

You must advise your fellow students of the obligation to respect anything that contains one of the names of Allah Almighty, a Quranic verse, or a prophetic hadith, either by preserving it or disposing of it by burning or burying. Some scholars have explicitly stated that whoever sees a paper containing any of these in an unclean place and does not remove it, departs from the fold of Islam.
