Does a woman whose husband has died inherit from him if she had left the marital home and traveled without his knowledge, and had sought a divorce before his death, but the divorce was not formalized?

The reason for inheritance between spouses is the existence of the marriage contract. Each inherits from the other as long as the marriage contract is valid between them, whether the wife is obedient or disobedient, because Allah Almighty says: (And for you is half of what your wives leave if they have no child. But if they have a child, for you is a fourth of what they leave, after any bequest they [may have] made or debt. And for them [i.e., your wives] is a fourth of what you leave if you have no child. But if you have a child, for them is an eighth of what you leave, after any bequest you [may have] made or debt). So, if there is no divorce, the wife inherits from her deceased husband.
