Is watching films and TV series that include a soothsayer who tells the future considered to be "coming to a soothsayer," as mentioned in the Hadith, "Whoever comes to a soothsayer..."?

It is not permissible to watch or listen to episodes featuring soothsayers and diviners through radio or television, whether the viewer believes them or not. This is because it falls under the category of "going to them," which the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade. Scholars have warned against these channels, and a Muslim must avoid them and not be lenient regarding them. Whoever watches them intentionally to see what they present is considered to have gone to them, and it is feared that the warning of their prayers not being accepted for forty days may apply to them. Similarly, it is not permissible to watch magic, whether real or simulated, because it is falsehood, unless the purpose is to denounce it and work towards its elimination.
