What is your advice to a girl who engaged in written sexual acts and whose conscience is tormenting her, and what are the ways of seeking forgiveness that expiate sins?

It is sufficient for the girl to repent to Allah with sincere repentance, the conditions of which we have explained in Fatwa no. 46149. And whoever repents, Allah accepts his repentance. We also advise her to avoid everything that could lead her to temptation, and to strive for what helps her remain steadfast in obedience to Allah, such as attending circles of knowledge, keenness on righteous companionship, and filling her free time with what benefits her in matters of this world and the Hereafter.
