Is it permissible to marry a religious and well-mannered man without his father's approval, even though both parties are divorced and have children, and his father fears ill-treatment of the children by the future wife, knowing that he has not yet met her?

Our advice is for the individual to try convincing their father to marry the woman he dislikes, explaining that his fears will not materialize, by Allah's will. If he is not convinced, then let him seek the mediation of someone who holds influence over him. If he is still not convinced, then it is better for him to be dutiful to his father, while reminding him of the words of Allah the Almighty: "But if they separate [by divorce], Allah will enrich each of them from His abundance. And Allah is ever encompassing and wise," and His words: "But perhaps you hate a thing and Allah makes therein much good."
