Is it permissible for a woman to seek divorce from her husband who does not pray, speaks to other women, abuses Captagon, and mistreats her to please his family, knowing that she does not wish to divorce him and loves him, but she knows that Islamic law obliges her to do so?

It is the wife's right that her husband provide a suitable independent home and treat her with kindness. He should not prevent her from visiting her family nor should he lock her in the house. If the husband engages in forbidden relationships and takes drugs, this is a grave offense, but the greatest calamity is his abandonment of prayer. The wife must advise him and explain the danger of abandoning prayer. If he insists on abandoning it and taking drugs, then it is recommended for her to seek a divorce from him.
