Does masturbation invalidate Umrah?

Firstly: A menstruating woman's Ihram for 'Umrah is valid, but she should not perform Tawaf until she becomes pure. However, if she cannot return to complete the 'Umrah, it is permissible for her to perform Tawaf while menstruating, and her 'Umrah remains valid. If she does not complete the 'Umrah, she must return to complete the Tawaf, Sa'i, and Taqsir.

Secondly: One must refrain from the prohibitions of Ihram before completing 'Umrah, and masturbation is among them. If she did it forgetfully or out of ignorance, there is no penalty upon her. But if she did it knowingly and intentionally, she must pay a Fidyah.

Thirdly: Masturbation without ejaculation carries no penalty. However, with ejaculation, it does not invalidate the 'Umrah, but it requires a Fidyah of choice, similar to the Fidyah for harm (Fidyah al-Adha): fasting for three days, or feeding six needy persons (half a Sa' of food for each needy person), or sacrificing a sheep to be distributed among the poor of the Haram.
