How was Ali, may God be pleased with him, killed in detail?

The wretched Abd al-Rahman ibn Muljam took on the killing of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali ibn Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, as he was going out for the Fajr prayer. Historical texts and reports have consistently mentioned this. The reason for his killing, may Allah be pleased with him, was that Ibn Muljam proposed to a woman from the Khawarij on the condition of killing Ali, Mu'awiyah, and Amr ibn al-Aas.

As for Al-Hajjaj ibn Abdullah al-Dimari, he struck Mu'awiyah during prayer, injuring him. However, Amr's companion killed Kharijah ibn Hudhafah, mistakenly believing him to be Amr. He was apprehended and brought before Amr, who said to him: "(You intended Amr, but Allah intended Kharijah)."
