There is no objection to collecting data from the internet and newspapers and selling it, provided that honesty is observed and the collection is attributed to its source. The permission of the owners is not required. However, if the research is copyrighted, it is not permissible to copy or sell it without the permission of its owners. Otherwise, the money derived from it is unlawful, and the owners must be compensated. If the collection and copying are permissible, then the company's work is permissible. Otherwise, it is forbidden, except for someone in dire need until they find another job.
