What is the ruling on examining a father-in-law by force?

A woman uncovering her body and displaying her adornments before her husband's brothers is one of the greatest abominations that breeds discord in the heart. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, warned against this, saying: "Beware of entering upon women." It was said to him: "What about the in-law (al-hamu)?" He replied: "The in-law is death." The linguists have agreed that al-ahma’ (plural of al-hamu) are the relatives of the woman's husband. It is not permissible to uncover oneself before any non-mahram (definition) man except out of necessity.
