What should a Muslim say upon entering his home if the Hadith: "O Allah, I ask You for the best of entry and the best of exit..." is weak, and only the Basmalah is sufficient?

The Hadith, "O Allah, I ask You for the best of entries and the best of exits. In the name of Allah we enter, and in the name of Allah we exit, and upon Allah, our Lord, we rely," is weak due to an interruption in its chain of narration (sanad) between Shuraih ibn Ubaid and Abu Malik al-Ash'ari. Some scholars have authenticated it, while others have deemed it weak. The preponderant view is that it is weak.

It is recommended for a Muslim, upon entering his home, to mention Allah frequently and to greet his family, based on the Almighty's saying: "So when you enter houses, greet one another with a greeting from Allah, blessed and good" (Quran 24:61). And based on the noble Hadith: "When a man enters his house and mentions Allah upon entering and upon eating, Satan says: 'There is no place for you to spend the night, nor any supper.'"
