Is it permissible to use a finger-sized, sterilized piece to wipe the tongue and teeth for purification from odors and germs, with various flavors, while fasting?

It is permissible to use mouth freshener (spray) during the daytime in Ramadan, provided that nothing from it reaches the throat, and that any residue is expelled. Miswak is sufficient as an alternative, bearing in mind that the smell of a fasting person's mouth is beloved by Allah because it is a result of an act of obedience.
