Is it valid to perform ghusl (ritual bathing) after janabah (state of ritual impurity) while having a cold and a blocked nose that prevents water from entering it, knowing that ghusl, linguistically, means covering the entire body with water?

The Malikis and Shafi'is hold that sniffing water into the nose (istanshaq) is not obligatory in ghusl (ritual bath), and its obligation is dropped when one is unable to perform it, because religious duties are commensurate with ability, and "Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity."
