Is the deferred dower to be paid to the wife after the husband's death, even if his estate is not sufficient to cover it?

The deferred dower (mu'akhkhar al-sadaq) is a debt owed by the husband, which becomes due upon his death. If the inheritance is not sufficient to pay the entire deferred dower, the wife takes whatever she finds of her due. If the deceased also has other debts, then each creditor takes from the inheritance in proportion to the amount of their debt, and the wife is considered as one of these creditors.
