What is the ruling on continuing a marriage to a wife who communicated with a strange man before and after marriage and acted recklessly, given the presence of children and the psychological impact on the husband that led him to commit forbidden acts? And what should the husband do concerning his wife, his parents, and his children?

If it is proven that the wife communicated with a non-mahram man, then she has done wrong, disobeyed her Lord, and fallen short in her duty to her husband. If she repents sincerely and her conduct improves, then keep her and treat her well. Otherwise, divorce is better, or be patient with her and strive to reform her. The husband must repent from zina (fornication/adultery); psychological distress is treated by turning to Allah and remembering Him. It is advised to choose a righteous wife, and it is not permissible to spy on the wife unless there is suspicion. It is obligatory for the mother to advise her daughter and not to condone illicit relations.
