Does divorce take place by the husband's statement made mockingly, "Oh, I mean divorce, and I didn't even swear by divorce," knowing that he suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder regarding divorce?

We ask Allah to grant you well-being and guide you to the most righteous of your affairs. You must turn away from obsessive thoughts and pay no attention to them, whether concerning divorce or anything else. Do not ask your husband about his intention regarding what you imagine to be words or allusions of divorce. Obsessive thoughts are a serious illness for which there is no cure except to get rid of them and not to indulge in them. Among the greatest things that will help you with this is seeking Allah’s help, sincerely turning to Him, and supplicating frequently.
