How does a traveler pray the dawn prayer when he is traveling at three o'clock in the morning?

The dawn prayer (Salat al-Fajr) is not subject to the dispensations of travel. Therefore, it is neither shortened nor combined with other prayers. It must be performed at its prescribed time, consisting of two rak'ahs. It is not permissible to offer it before its time or to delay it until the sun rises.
