Is it permissible to abort a malformed fetus if the deformities are confirmed after several radiological examinations of the pregnant woman?

It is permissible to abort a malformed fetus before the ensoulment (before 120 days) after exhausting all means of treatment. However, after ensoulment, it is not permissible to abort it solely due to a deformity. The parents must be patient and content with Allah's decree. The fatwas of the Permanent Committee have stipulated that it is not permissible to abort a deformed fetus after the fifth month, even if the deformity is severe, because the reports of doctors are often conjectural, and Allah may improve the condition of the fetus. This is unless the continuation of the pregnancy poses a danger to the mother's life, in which case abortion is permissible to protect her.
