Can clove water be used as a mouthwash to relieve toothache while fasting to make up for missed fasts?

If it is possible to delay rinsing with clove water until after breaking the fast, that is better. However, if a fasting person needs it during the fast, there is no harm, but they must spit out the medicine and not swallow any of it so as not to invalidate the fast. It is disliked to medicate during the day unless there is a fear of harm from delaying it until night.
