Does using injections and rectal medications to treat hemorrhoids invalidate fasting?

Whatever reaches the stomach of a fasting person through the mouth or nose invalidates the fast and breaks it for the fasting person, whether it is medicine or anything else. As for whatever reaches his stomach or body through means other than the mouth and nose, such as injections, needles, and rectal medications, if their purpose is nourishment, then they break the fast of the fasting person. If their purpose is not nourishment but merely medication, then they do not break the fast of the fasting person, according to the more apparent of the two scholarly opinions.
