Is the call to prayer (adhan) made for the newborn in his ear with the iqamah or without it, or is the adhan made in the right ear only, or in both ears together?

It is recommended to call the Adhan in the right ear of the newborn, based on what was reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he called the Adhan in the ear of Al-Hasan ibn Ali when Fatimah gave birth to him. As for the Iqamah in the left ear, no authentic hadith has been proven regarding it, and the narrations mentioned in that regard are weak or fabricated. Likewise, it has not been authentically reported that Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz used to call the Iqamah in the left ear of the newborn. Therefore, the Adhan is called only in the right ear of the newborn, and the Iqamah is not called in the left.
